Dipping in the well from Eurocks 2002 again for Screenager. Matt babbles aimlessly and then begins a sequence of piano playing (prelude, with what would become B&H) that I like to call

holy fucking hand porn”.

Dom’s got a huge fan in his face and his hair is blowing around like he’s in an Herbal Essences shampoo commercial. The song’s not bad, either.

This performance of Hyper Music from Eurockeennes 2002 actually made me cry. Matt Bellamy is so beautiful, so alive, so passionate, that my eyes watered. He’s beautiful and every time he screams, desire just fills your entire body. THIS  is pure fucking showmanship. JESUS. PLEASE JUST LET ME LOVE YOU.

Muse (with special guest star, Matt Bellamy’s blond hair!) playing Minimum at Eurockeennes 2000.

Dom has really fucking unfortunate hair. Matt makes a lot of funny faces and then dances around with veins drawn on his forearms arms. Chris headbangs to the point of whiplash with a head of spiral curls.

Everyone has a good time ragging on The Resistance. But MK Ultra is one of the thickest, dirtiest tracks on that album, and so is this version  from Turin in March 2010.

There’s plenty of Wolstenass (and wolstenbacking vocals) and awesome, crazy vocal effects to make panties and balls drop all over the internet.  In the words of Mister Bellamy, “WOO!”

Muse performing “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” in approx. 2002, judging by Matt’s tie and Dom’s beanie.  Here’s this same song 8 years later at the Budokan in  Japan.

If you listen hard enough, you can almost hear Dom singing the “ba-da ba-da ba-da” bit that Matt gave him such a rough time for. If you can’t hear him, just enjoy watching his mouth open so wide.

A deviation from the norm this week with a Dom Howard fan video, set to Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus. This thing is a fucking monument to the walking sex that is Dom Howard. Enjoy this sexy fucking sexy video and remember to vote for the NME Awards.

So, this one time Muse went to France and they decided that Chris would be awesome at playing keyboards during Time is Running Out. Which, of course, he was. The only problem was that his bass guitar kept getting in the way…

Thoughts of a Dying Atheist from Wembley Arena, 2003. Dipping a bit into the Absolution-era reserves today for a solid performance of a song that saw a relatively limited shelf life on Muse setlists.

United States of Eurasia (live w/ orchestra at Children in Need 2009)

There is little I can say to promote this video, except for that it’s stunning. Muse, a full orchestra, and a good cause. Dom and Chris look great (although I cannot pretend to understand why Matt wore a tee shirt to this occasion). PIANO PORN ALERT: THIS VIDEO FEATURES THE WHITE KAWAII.

Once upon a time, the operator of this blog went to Lollapalooza. Everything was relatively heterosexual until Matt strutted toward the drumkit during post-SS riffage.

(This is the important stuff that begins at 6:38). Then, as Dom grinned down at him like a horny, sweaty sex monster, Matt began grinding his dick against the bass drum. When I say “grinding”, I mean, “get this man a pole, because I think his ass cheeks are flexing”.

It was the most beautiful moment of my life. *wipes away a tear*
